Description

This is for my friend and mentor Liz (Zil2008). Even though facing some difficult times Liz found it in her heart to gift me the beautifully wicked Shiloh by Gypsyangel as a celebratory gift for completing the Ishtar in the Underworld series. Liz has given me much patient and special instruction on post rendering techniques and many of the subtle special affects that I now use were taught to me by her. She is a very special friend who always reaches out to people and is blessed with a generous heart. So please drop by her gallery and take a look at her delightful works. My personal fav by Liz "This song is for you" Hugs dear friend; I hope you like her. A few people have asked about Belili and have requested stories about Ereshkigal. A full story about Ereshkigal finding love in the darklands will follow after the next Ishtar adventure. But in the meantime here is the first of a very short sequel about Belili's arrival in the darklands. I have always wondered why Belili is thought of as a dark Goddess when clearly in her one known surviving role she was a light worker? This sequel gives me a chance to explore an answer to that question. It is pure conjecture as very little about Belili has survived the ravages of time. Since all the other Ishtar characters got upgrades I thought the wickedly beautiful Ereshkigal deserved one too. This is Shiloh as Ereshkigal. Ereshkigal waits to see who her sister Ishtar has chosen to come back to the darklands. As she waits these words come to her mind: I look across my barren lands I shade my eyes with my hands Who will come to my domain? Whose soul shall here remain? Has my sister chosen right? Whose soul will I keep tonight? Though my home be dark as pitch I am not an evil bitch All I asked was justice done To balance battles fought and won Here they shall forever rest Forever more they will be my guest Roxy 2009 Previous in Ishtar series

You know I've had mixed feelings about your revamping some of the characters. It's not the case here. I absolutely love this character as Ereshkigal. This is an absolutely stunning close-up portrait and you have nailed her expression. Gorgeous work!

This is a fabulous portrait! You really showed off Shiloh so well here. Beautiful expression - almost like she's deep in meditation. Love the reflections in her eyes. Great makeup choice too. Beautiful nose ring and other accessories - great for a goddess. Wonderful background - dramatic and interesting. Really beautiful work! Bravo!

Very well done roxy. the background is dramatic and sets the mood well ) particularly like how the jewelry rendererd (and or was postworked) I have this set and never have been able to get it to look that good. My favorite however are the eyes. You would never be able to tell it by my art (and the female attributes I tend to make the central element) but deep down I am an "eye man". You did a wonderful job on her hazel eyes

I like the Persona very stronglooking!! She has a refined look. When she sets her mind on something she will get it, nothing gets in her way. She reminds me on the goddes kali (kali as i know her, not the Kali as many people think she is, Kali destroys everything that is not pure in live, so that finely we are left with love and purity) The red lips,the red nails and eyes are very eye catching. I can see what you tried to explain to me at one of my pics (Izzy) about how you are always drawn to finely done eye reflection work. This image of yours has that effect on me too, the intensive eyes (the color and the shine are beautiful)
