Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

First things first...enjoy yourself! But old files do come in handy. Love your title...fits perfectly. You could always add your own laundry...remember clothes pins and clothes lines?

yeah, it's really nice to see it from two perspectives (tara), but you do that often in your gallery—going back to places & letting us see them at different times or from different angles. In this version, we see it head on, and it really does look like a clothes line! Actually it looks very ceremonial, it could be the entry to an ancient burial ground or sacred space...Nice shot, Marilyn, you made it possible to see several things in it. Hope you're having a great time!

Perhaps they did. I hear it makes amazing baskets. Every time you use them you smell the sea.
