Description
Henderson is a town and is a swamp by it. You cross I-10 going by the town and the sign says "Atchafalaya basin". The local call this area Henderson swamp. It is divided up into maney area and I do not know the area too good for all the names. I talked to some that been on boats going to they friends boat house at night and they friend can drive with out lights around the swamp with no touble at night and get to the right house boat they going too; then party intill 2 A.m. and drive they friend back to they car and go back to the house boat drunk and never hit a tree or stump with no lights.
took this when moonrancher was here and we rented a boat for the day to ride around. I messed up and had a polarise fither on the len. It turn all my photos blue in color and took out the fog that was setting over the swamp. Was not a heavy fog but it look nice.

I do not know technical values. Never been to school but in the early 70's and forgot most of what I learn there.[took only one class in photos] I do not have time or money to go back to school to learn. So forgive me of bad images. I may have the eye but my technical values on the image is bad. That is why comments is there for good or bad so please write down the truth. That way I learn . I know I got better at technical values than I was a few years ago.

As far as I'm concerned, you've been posting some of the most amazing photos! Those and the commentary that you give with them makes any technical mishaps seem trivial in comparison. Keep doing it the way you feel and you'll never go wrong. Great work!

I did try my best to get the blue tint out from the polarise fither but you can tell it still needs some work on it . water is really brown in color but I know it picks up the blue in the sky. oh look at the water line on the trees in front. the water is low

One of the most brilliant artists I know, and I've know many, was good enough to have his work hand in the National Art Gallery. He knew nothing of the "technical" aspects of good art but his heart knew what to do out of instinct. He didn't always produce "a winner" but he found out what a winner was. I think you are much like that. This is a stellar shot of this lake (swamp) and the composition is great.
