You captured the bird very nicely. It/he is almost in camouflage with the trees and branches surrounding. A great photo.

Lovely shot, I've been really enjoying your photos of Lake Martin (and the other "swamp shots" you've done" You always have a good eye, so I expect anything you decide to take a picture of will look great.

Another keen kapture of Lake Martin and its environs! Jock, since this is one of your favorite stomping grounds for photos, you might as well build a cabin or bring in a trailer by the lake so you don't have to drive or hike back and forth.

Jock, you put the flavor of your surroundings out there for us to see and these lake shots, just as you cafe shots, are all part of a documentary of what life is like there. I love it. And this view is wonderful. The duckweed is so thick like a blanket over the surface of the water. The grace of the landscape is so well complemented by the grace in the flight of the bird.

when your picture was scrolling down, I remark immediately the egret ! A splendid detail on your photo !!! I am falling love with this series, because it is for my eyes a great joy by seeing all this area with cypresses and birds, so wide apparently as Lake Martin ! Great thanks Jocko for this great escape !!!
