Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us.  Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!Â

Really fun ! I like the shot idea, and the animals are very interesting.

Stellar POV in this capture of the woolly ones, Jodie! I believe this is what they call a triumvirate, or troika. If there are only three sheep to count, then you'll never fall asleep, unless you count them over and over. And, it's refreshing to see that you're not serious all the time.

lol...great shot Jodie! You photographed chickens a ways back that had the same clarity, as if each chicken were photographed separately. You got that here. Really nice capture of the texture of the sheep, they're really plush, you really got them. And a great title. (Sorry, but having come of age in the late 60s I can't help but remember 'weed' as something you smoked!) Love the shot & idea. (Why is it sheep always look half asleep?) Good luck with your work, I know it gets intense as the spring heads in...love the shot.
