A shot looking up at an old smokestack from somewhere in the old industrial section of Memphis. Not really sure what the company was, but it still stands as a tangible reminder of yesteryear, cutting a stark unavoidable image in the sky. Of course today the building is abandoned, and probably destined for demolition to make way for some more upscale condos and apartments. But there was a time when smoke bellowed out the top of this structure, and the company was livelihood for numerous Memphis families. And it still looks impressive today, even with boarded up windows. Thanks for looking! marshall
