I knew there was any historical relationships, in the Middle Ages, between Corsica and Cataluna...The left upper flag is a proof! I will show this pict to my wife : her mother's name is "Varese" and she was born in Corsica, and her father's name is "Grau" ans he was born near Perpignan! An other proof! Thanks for this picture full of happiness.

Well done collage. Especially like how you've used various grids, square and brick-like, to help unify the work.

another beauty, this one filled with the most delicate grain and sweeping horizontal lines...Your grain really is fine, very delicate; and the grids (as tim/november22 points out) integrate the piece as well. Such a fascinating group of visuals: flags & birds & seascapes & stairwells; but you have a way, you meld them into one vision. I always thought collage was the meeting-ground between different items and 'one painting'—diversity must be present, but also unity. And you always get both. And your hues in the center, those pale voilets & dark grayish blues, make this very beautiful to my eyes. And you never fail to add those painting sections—those painted swirls & bursts you place throughout your collages. You're simply one of the best, Emilio, and everytime I come here I realize how much I have to learn from what you do. Beautiful as always. You're a wonderful artist.

Love the staircase in the middle. It gives it a real sense of place.
