(I've been away & have only been able to be here a little...sorry I'm late to this, Emilio!) I see all kinds of personal drawings & paintings in this piece: You have wonderful freehand drawings of bird-like and human figures, and bull-like figures, and a horse or mule-like figure too; and you've got a king figure and other shapes & forms, many very playful & all very organic; and your colors in these drawings are very bold & vivid; I really love these sections...Then, your painterly sections are very oil-like, and you achieve a beautiful 'striation', a kind of layered set of lines & thrusts, which you've used in other collages too. This is such a rich collage, where some of the sections are nearly paintings by themselves. Of the collages I've seen, this is one of the most complex to my eye, it has many worlds inside it. I love your use of script too, and your cartoon-like line). This is an intensely rich work, and one of my favorite of your gallery—and that says a lot because everything in your gallery is masterful. This is not a 'nation' of visual statements, it's a continent. Beautiful work, truly.
