Description
Well, it looks like the two littlest ones have gone off with Tirina to search for some food - dragonettes are always hungry, especially after playing around so much! Carnetto and Seneel have stayed behind with Corinda.
Let's listen in:
Corinda: it was nice meeting you and your family. You have some very beautiful children!
Carnetto: low rumble (at least to our ears)
Corinda: Why thank you Carnetto, I'd love to come back again to visit.
Carnetto: low long rumble
Corinda: No, I don't think so, I'd have to ask Zlata and the rest. But not right now, they're busy discussing the results of my MAT - Magic Aptitude Test. I think I upset them when I told them what I experienced.
Carnetto: rumbling that sounds like a chuckle
Corinda: You know about the results and what they mean? Can you tell me? Please? Aiko is upset, Bambi is awed by it, Zlata is so mysterious and calm about it. and the Loik is just acting stranger than usual.
Carnetto: I'll learn in due time and you'll explain more, later? Just be patient. Okay! I'll try but it will be hard.
Seneel: higher pitched rumble and standing up facing Corinda
Corinda: Why thank you Seneel. I think you're very nice too! You're growing up to be a very handsome dragon.
Carnetto: rumbling longer looking directly at Corinda
Corinda: What? You're telling me what? I just can't walk off with your son in tow. What would everyone think? I wouldn't even know how to take care of him, what to feed him or know if anything is wrong! Why me, Carnetto? Why?
Carnetto: longer rumbling
Corinda: You see that it is destined that Seneel be by my side from now on? Don't I have a choice in all this. (almost yelling) First I'm dragged out of school, taken away from family and friends because of some ancient pact. then I'm tested by this globe thingy and when I tell people what I felt and saw, they go berserk! Now you're telling me that I've adopted Seneel and he's adopted me and there's nothing I can do about it? come on, Carnetto! you've got to be kidding me.
Carnetto: looking sternly at Corinda and rumbling even louder than before
Corinda: (crestfallen) Okay, Carnetto! I understand, I just hope that the fae understand as well. I promise to take care of your son.
Seneel: (nuzzling up to Corinda)
Corinda: okay Seneel, I guess you and I are partners now. Let's go home. I've got to figure out how to tell the rest what has happened. Yes, Seneel, I like you very much. Come on! I wonder, what do you dragons eat?
Seneel: long, chuckling rumble
Corinda: all that, yuck! that sounds gross! don't you even cook that?
Seneel: another long chuckling rumble
Corinda: (laughing) True, it would be charred on the outside and raw inside. I've never fed a dragon before. I hope you'll forgive me if I goof up sometimes
Seneel: pushing his head up to Corinda's side humming
Corinda: yeah, we'll manage one thing at a time. You and me, Seneel!
