G'day,
and thank you for the chance to introduce myself......
okay, that sounds waaaay too stuffy.... how about this then...... I was raised on Canadian Army Bases which limited the type of grand exposure that my peers would have enjoyed... (In High School, every one of my City Friends would spend Monday mornings talking about Saturday Night Live.... I had no idea what an Ackroyd or a Belushi was....). but you learn.......
I am mostly self taught as no respectable art school would have anything to do with me.
I make movies, live and animated, am one half of a Jazz Duo (called Three Men With Mono.... I play with another animator, the astounding Richard Reeves... and yeah we know, a duo is less than 3 men... but hey....Grand Funk Railroad isn't a Railroad, Iron Butterfly isn't an insect.... and Pink Floyd is well...)
I work in digital photography, Poser (which rules), Bryce, Deluxe Paint 4 (yes I still have working Amiga's), and anything that functions for me...and I'm developing a new animation technique for using with inexpensive digital cameras.
I am currently living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with 2 robot dogs and my dreams....
and unless you've made other plans, have a great day!

At the end of the wars, the Museum world of Smit-Zonea felt the freedom to explore again. An expedition headed by their top man Professor Indi-yana Jonz, set off to map the far reaches of the galaxy. Obstensibly, it was a survey mission to track out new planets for colonization and to set up outlying lounges, but the truth of the matter was that the wars had uncovered a thousand years of mysteries that needed to be solved..... artifacts and ships that seemed out of time and place..... rumours and myths..... the time had come for a new hope... a new way to use technology, for other than war...... a dream of the future. The Longshot, nearly three miles in length, an amalgam of Reen-Oh and Vay-Gas design and technology, a crew of 1560.....she was something that the empires had never seen before, and once she launched to the stars, something no one would ever see again.....everyone knew the journey would take another thousand years.....but it was a thousand years in coming. The Lounge Wars, Chapter 264: Aftermath of War Always wanted to be an astronaut....journey to space, explore the boundless wonders of the stars.....things didn't turn out according to plan.. all the pace agencies were looking for skinny guys under 6 foot tall.... and my family are all large A-Frame kinda people....deep sigh.... but at least I can dream about space travel..... and build my own imagined ships to the great beyond.... sing with me and the girls... the tail theme to Fireball XL 5... "I wish I were a space man, fastest guy alive... I'd fly you 'round the Universe in Fireball XL 5......."

I bet that Longshot has a 'big deck'...hehe ! (think Drew Carey !!) well the design does make one think that way...or is it just me and my warped sense of humour ? I hope Indi lived long enough to checkout the first planet or two ! Kool Brycing Collin and you said "A-frame", it's got me thinking, your family might be related to Buzz-lightyear...infintiy and beyond, see there is still hope my not-so-frozen-friend ! ~Cheers~

You got me whistling:(no, not Dixie !) but, 'Dreamer...nothing but a dreamer' Good on you Collin...I used to got smacked for day-dreaming, can you believe that ? Back to your big Shipyards of the Universe, a 1000 years is nothing there, think big !(A-frame?)no, more like billion light-years away...up, up and away, keep on dreaming, big boy and the girls, you just never know where you might end up ? Cheers BB
