Pirate Radio.... illegal and some would say, immoral broadcasts the whispered ideas and ideals from the corners of space where no respectible soul would venture. Old transport ships, re-fitted with long range transmitters, and small studios manned by dedicated mad people... intent on giving a different voice during the conflicts.... If the overnments could figure out where these people were transmitting from... there would be explosions, and large holes in space... littered by blown up radio parts.... but since they were too far away to be economical enough to destroy... a grudging respect was given these stations...... and at the end of the wars, many people would still tune in and turn on.... Pirate Radio.... The Lounge Wars: Chapter 15: All we are saying.... Although I should never admit it..... a few years ago I built a small FM Transitter that I could carry in my bike, tuned to the most popular radio station in town.... a CD player rocking real music..... as I passed cars tuned to the big station, my signal would override and they'd hear real music for the first time in years..... and despite what the years may bring... neither Madonna, Britney Spears, nor Christina Aguilera will Never be considered "Cl;assic Rock".... So sayeth The Loungers....

Ah, yes I remember, when in Germany, my stepmother used to tune in, every Sunday morning to Radio Luxembourg, for the weekly 'Hit Parade' !!! Better than going to church, trust me, I should know. Explosions and Collisions due to build-up of orbiting junk ? Has space run out of space ? More than 300,000 objects circle the globe each day and a collision creates 600 pieces of debris. The debris is expected to form into two expanding clouds that could eventually ring the planet... Where was I...? ah yes, 'VIVA LA RADIO' !!! in space, no one can hear you scream, and no one can tell you where to park your satellite. Cheers BB
