Description

A smack on the head. #;oD I was browsing some old photos, this evening. And i could not help laughing over these, from approx. 2002. A small collage of my dog, Kittie The 3.rd, from when she was a pup. She is almost 7 years old now. Seen here with her friend, the cat, Olav(named after the King of Norway) #:o).. The cat and dog was seperated, during my last divorce. #:oD But they loved each other.. and loved to tease each other, too. The situation seen on these images, happened very often. The dog could look at the cat for a long time..... just sit there... looking...#:o) But then all of a sudden... the temptation became too overwhelming....#;oD The cat was not easy to dominate... so the dog always got a smack on the head...And the cat kept his throne, on the chair. Nothing serious ever happened to any of them, though... But watching them tease each other... was fantastic entertainment. Always a big laugh... just by watching them. Any way....have a good laugh. #;oD And thanks for comments, faves and general support of my gallery.

Superb photos Lars! Wonderful action, well caught! I adore these pictures! Kittie was just adorable when she was a pup. Shame her and the real Kitty were separated. Even the animals suffer when there is divorce. Immediate FAVE!

Made me smile, Lars. Yes, no matter what the dog or how many, a cat rules the househhold.

This brought a huge smile to my face. Reminded me of an incident when I lived in Houston Texas. I was sitting outside, enjoying the early evening when the neighbor's cat Panther came to visit me. He was an old grey cat, kind of large and festooned with battle scars, including a ripped ear. Anyway the cat jumped into my lap to visit. Just then, another neighbors Labrador managed to escape through a poorly closed gate. This dog, really just a big puppy, saw the cat and started barking real excited and ran our way. The cat calmly jumped down, sat on the pavement and waited. When the dog got within distance, the cat sprang up and swatted him, one claw extended - right on the end of his nose. The dog stopped in a jumbled heap, yowled and ran right back into his gate. The cat just sat there, cleaned his paw, looked up at me as if to say "Thanks for the fun visit" and calmly padded away. Funniest thing I ever saw!
