Hello !
This is for my 2 beloved nieces Susank and Netterad.
Found this old sketch, I made in the 80�´s. A little part of their grandmothers vacation house. At that time my father was reparing the old Lawn Mover on his cement table in the garden.
Oh woe, these is wonderful memories.
Thanks for your kind comments to yesterdays post and special warm thanks to those who added it to favorites.
Have a wonderful week withiut stress.
This morning it no more snow.. well almost no more. It is mild and peaceful.

I think sketches can sometimes bring back a different sort of memory of a place or occasion, partly maybe because they take longer than a snap with a camera.

oh you can share your sketches 24/7, as far as I'm concerned. The Forum is so lucky to have them day after day. And a lovely gift for your 2 nieces, one of whom I know and the other I'm just discovering. (I'll check her gallery out soon...) Your sketches have a real freedom as well as your usual technique & control. You get detail with the simplest jazzy strokes of the pen, pencil or brush; your shading is done simply (in the space under the roof or around the flowers) and I love the simple shapes to your flowers, including some that are very caring-ly drawn. Sketches can be wonderful, and I love yours. (As I've gone through your early gallery, I've had the pleasure of discovering them along with your paintings too.) Love this piece! Lovely gift too.
