Description

Hello! I know this is a little over exposed, but I still love it so much, because of the wonderful lushness. Taken with my old camera. Thanks for your kind comments to yesterdays post and Special thanks to those who added to favs. Have a great day. We have a very lovely sunshine, but it is also very cold and frosty.

overexposed doesn't matter if you make art out of it. This is very painterly. The different textures of background trees & foreground trees are very rich. The whole feels like a big overgrown jungle of lush green & water. And like a previous shot, the water is nestled in the center almost as a little amulet. Also your overexposure made the sky a diffuse white, so that the leaves against it get that 'bluish' hue that will happen to the little buggers when they're against such a sky; and i think it's just right. Beautiful helle. I guess a lifetime allows some people to make beauty often enough that it seems to happen in their sleep. I love coming here...

Beautiful shot for a snowy morning - 8cms yesterday and another 8cm today - then down to the -30C for a few days - it'll be a while before I can see green out my window - makes it great to see in this windows

We, who have been struggling through the months of winter, all seem to be drifting in dreams of the coming spring. Outstanding shot - for composition and for mood.
