Description

The first day of Carnival in Venice I found myself in St. Mark's square in the process of being crushed and jostled, and almost trampled over. With only the sky above to see, I turned my head and saw this guy just behind me. Being taller than me, he was photographing the sea of 100,000 people and odd squeezed in the square. So I took a shot of him! This is part of a series about the Carnival in Venice, when about one million people invaded the city. I hope you like the posterized version of this pic, mimicking the Tourist Board's posters.
