Did I mention that I love flying and all things about it?..Even to the point of stupid?
The devil-may-care madman strapped in the home-made hanglider banking over the ridge is me...visions of flying close to the sun in my eyes...1973. The excitement of the moment of course negated the stiff crosswind that should have been taken into account, and the hill we were on descended rapidly to left just beyond my excited ground crew. "Did he learn a lesson," you ask? "Yes", the answer is....start earlier in the day so you have more time to do the stupid thing you are doing!
