Description

They're fast, they're loud, they're red, white, and blue...What else can you say about the Thunderbirds except that, like Fred Astaire, they make it look deceptively easy and the most natural thing in the world! ...In a word...Practice! This one was hard to resist doing just for the halibut! The usual suspects...Poser, Vue6inf, and photoshop. F-16 by Bazze, and Thunderbirds texture courtesy of the generouos stylings of Neil Wilson and the careful photo references supplied by billmc62 brought about by a request from iloco

Excellent! Love the dynamics of this shot. I still remember the first time I saw the Blue Angles. I have never seen the Air Force team sadly - saw the planes, I arrived about 10minutes after the show was over. A bit of sociology I was reading says it takes 10k hours to master a skill at a world class level - I imagine they have lots of time in the air.
