Hi all - Well, I have some sad news. My computer has blown up. It is toast. My husband forgot to pay the electric bill. So they shut off our electricity. He paid the bill. They turned it on - but my computer was not protected from the electrical surge that occurred when they turned it on... it was not plugged into the new surge protector we bought recently (to replace the one that died). Soooo, I'm not sure if it can be saved or not. At this point I'm hoping that the data from the hard drive can be salvaged and moved to a backup. It's really toast. As they say on Star Trek, it's dead Jim.
Well, I created a picture on my laptop so that I can post something to share this news with you folks. It will be difficult to post comments to everyone's pictures. My email was on my regular computer, not my laptop. So I can try to keep up but it will be difficult. So I'm apologizing in advance for not being able to do comments as quickly. I'm not sure when or if my PC can be fixed. If it can't be fixed, I'll have to get a new computer or hard drive or something. That will have to wait until our income tax return comes back. Thank goodness I filed the tax return last night. Whew!

Add'l notes: I've been creating some new styles - the framing here is based off what I've created. (I've been doing this on the laptop on my lunch hour at work, which is why they're even accessible to begin with! I have a limited amount of goodies stored on this laptop since I do most of my stuff on the regular computer.)
Please zoom to see the details. I wasn't able to do much in the way of postwork since my wacom tablet is attached to the computer. :)

D'oh!!! sorry to hear about your computer!!! Can't count how many times that's happened. Bummer! Well, here's to hope that it's fixable and quickly (without too much of a bite on the pocketbook). Fantastic image! Love her face and the makeup is outstanding! Beautiful work!
