Description
The stages of our lives are interesting and yet sometimes they bring an uncertainty that can unsettle our foundations. No one ever wrote a book about getting old and how we would feel. Feelings are where it's at. We would almost all agree that we don't feel that much different than we felt ten years ago. What we would all agree upon is that we have become wiser with the passing of our years. Age is a matter of mind and not the body. If we think young... keep our minds active... the body is sure to follow. So the next time that you hear someone say "I feel like I'm sixty" take a moment to question that thought. What is a sixty year old supposed to feel like? Let the passages of your life bring you peace and joy. Welcome them with open arms. Embrace them and know for yourself that you are magnificent... you are wonderful... you are all that you should be and yet you are not what you have yet to become. Life is an amazing journey. We can either go along by digging in our heels and being disgruntled or we can move through our journey with the knowledge that we are infinite... that we are a mysterious potentiality just waiting to happen. The choice is ours... it has always been ours. How divine. How simply divine.
Our thought for the day is: 'You may occasionally give out - but never give up.' Quote by Mary Crowley
May you always know joy throughout your life and may the joy you know bring you happiness.

This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack 2.08. The seed script for this flame was the Moonstruck script by Bunny Clarke. There were some tweaks by me. Post work was done in PSP. You can visit Bunny’s gallery here:

Thanks for stopping by to share a moment with me. I appreciate you viewing my art and leaving comments on my images. Each one is special and something that I will treasure. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You make my world a little brighter and bring rainbows to my valley of life. Thanks for being that special You that you are.
May the time that is yet to come bring joy and delight and may the time that has passed leave memories that are fond and kind. Namaste.

Beautiful inspiring words and image.I think being an artist, and creative spirit, allows you to stay young in your heart forever. There is always something new to discover, to explore, to create. My Aunt Athena, who is an artist/musician/writer, recently turned 90 and she is younger and more vibrant than most people I know. CC

Sadly, most of the friends I had that were anywhere near my age (74) are dead now. I have no friends to talk to about how a man of my age should feel. So, on a daily basis, I simply have to re-invent myself, without a guide book to follow. I have no idea how an older man should feel, so I just make it up as I go along. Thing about that is; that it takes the same amount of energy to make up a sad or sorrowful way of being as it does to make up a happy way of being.............and trust me; the pay off to "happy" is far greater than the payoff to "unhappy". At my age; the time left is short, and so I choose to make up my own reality.........and that is that I am damn happy to still be here......compaired to the alternative......any day above ground is a damn good day.

It's always a comfort and solace to the soul to read what you write under each of your compositions. This superb image points to the journey we have to complete in our lives without ever being sure we move forward as we should...
