Description

The stages of our lives are interesting and yet sometimes they bring an uncertainty that can unsettle our foundations. No one ever wrote a book about getting old and how we would feel. Feelings are where it's at. We would almost all agree that we don't feel that much different than we felt ten years ago. What we would all agree upon is that we have become wiser with the passing of our years. Age is a matter of mind and not the body. If we think young... keep our minds active... the body is sure to follow. So the next time that you hear someone say "I feel like I'm sixty" take a moment to question that thought. What is a sixty year old supposed to feel like? Let the passages of your life bring you peace and joy. Welcome them with open arms. Embrace them and know for yourself that you are magnificent... you are wonderful... you are all that you should be and yet you are not what you have yet to become. Life is an amazing journey. We can either go along by digging in our heels and being disgruntled or we can move through our journey with the knowledge that we are infinite... that we are a mysterious potentiality just waiting to happen. The choice is ours... it has always been ours. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: 'You may occasionally give out - but never give up.' Quote by Mary Crowley May you always know joy throughout your life and may the joy you know bring you happiness. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack 2.08. The seed script for this flame was the Moonstruck script by Bunny Clarke. There were some tweaks by me. Post work was done in PSP. You can visit Bunny’s gallery here: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?username=bpclarke Thanks for stopping by to share a moment with me. I appreciate you viewing my art and leaving comments on my images. Each one is special and something that I will treasure. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You make my world a little brighter and bring rainbows to my valley of life. Thanks for being that special You that you are. May the time that is yet to come bring joy and delight and may the time that has passed leave memories that are fond and kind. Namaste.

a beautiful vision & beautiful words. You know, the traditions I studied taught us that part of our wisdom is accepting the cycles of body, earth etc, and embracing them with the same love we'd embrace the eternal child. In other words, 'feeling 60' is natural for a body that has gone through the cycles of 60 years, and even glorious that something as frail as a temporal body can embody such everlasting light. But by embracing the cycles we can be in harmony with them while still knowing they're just cycles, just phases of a gown, a container. What's important, as you write so often, is that the eternal child is always with us, never leaves us, and dances while the cycles go their way...This is another of your blossoming domes, with a kind of trumpet of light beneath it, and a canopy above it (made of sinewy forms blossoming above). Kind of like the individual soul coming out of a universal cavern. And the violets of your canopy are sumptuous & beautiful, and filled with lights. And once again, you've put a little piece of your art on your signature panel, a beautiful little touch that I obviously love. Very sensitively done, and the light inside your central 'dome' is a true inner lantern...
