Description

The Art of Boolean (Part 44) This is my continuing series showing how I model using only the Boolean objects that come with Bryce. As you can see, the Cumberland has 86410 objects and 5597356 polygons. The file size is 489.251 Megs and still growing. The model was created both in Bryce 5.5 and 6.1, however since Bryce cannot handle this large of a file I had to report all the sections back to 5.5 for assembly and render. I have no problem with DAZ, I just wish that they would support Bryce as they said they would and that includes cleaning up the code to allow for larger file sizes. This model is pure Bryce with no Poser items or anything else from any vender. I do realize that Bryce was never design to be a modeler but as you can see with a little imagination, you can create quite detail models. All concepts and design are by me as I create all my models. Your comments and suggestions are most welcome. Cheers, David

This stuff just makes me weep with joy! I love that we can boolean and model in Bryce. BTW you've just convinced me to try your method of construction to get over the horrendous problems I've been having with the Flying Scotsman Project. Hats off to you!!!

I have seen your art work at daz bryce galerie... you're just incredible!! I'm a bryce user too and like you i think that it's not a modeler but with a lot of booleans you can render some nice pict.
