They're so beautiful! I really need to get busy and work on the orchid shots I took at the garden show. So many pics, so little time! I don't think I got anything nearly like this, though. Gorgeous!!

I loved the earlier orchid shot (I really loved it) and this is another view, and while it's not as packed as the last one, it's still got wonderful music in it. Your really have lines & textures, pinks & greens, inter-crossings and little traffic jams, and a generous amount of space & shadow surrounding. In shots like these, you manage to balance a lot of seeming cacophony, but you're at home with the image enough to find a cohesion, yet you don't lose the energy either. It's kind of what painting-collage does, lots of different elements but all holding together. Really nice shot, active & a big slice of life...
