Description

A Black and White Monoprint Rather than get my hands dirty in real ink, which I have done many times in past, I painted this version of a woodblock Monoprint in Photoshop using the Lasso Tool and the Bucket Fill Tool.

I love the strong contrasts, and the tonal changes. There is an abstract look to some of the shapes, as if they were stained glass. This is a fascinating technique that I really love, Jan. My eyes are captured as I look at each area and drink it all in. Really fabulous work, and a favorite.
