Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I like this (the larger one) the very best!

The largest of the three by far! The lower right is a little too ordinary. The upper right is so tight, the contxt is lost. The left hand shot is just right. remind you of the "Three Bears" just a little?

I think the way you have them presented here as a whole makes the best so far--you get all three views, and makes a wonderful package. What fun!

I must agree with Bill AND Denise! Bill has perfectly described the process we went through, and Denise has nailed the beauty of the result. :)

I like the original the best, and the one on the left a close second. The severely cropped one at the upper right does nothing for me. Sorry, Denise, I know you meant well.

I like the large image but the original image represents a view, of the height, that Ti plants can achieve. Dana P

awright, so it's my turn to make a suggestion: How 'bout turning it upside down & doing it in green?" (This is how you get yourself thrown out of galleries...) Bravo for trying everyone's thoughts & then putting them into a montage. Your 3d version is another side to the plant & it has a different personality still. A fav for each one separately, and a fav for the series. I could watch you transform these things all day. (I loved how you kept coming back to orchids too...you're a natural with variations...)
