RoundHammer
It would have been nice had they come up with something original, instead of plagiarizing the U.S. Army's Soldier's Creed.

I would have to agree with RoundHammer, but the highest form of flattery is imitation. Very nice work...

Um, this isn't an official EVE Online wallpaper. I made it. I chose the US Soldier Creed purposely, as there is a war going on in the game, and I thought since the US creed was so poignant and powerful, it would be useful to convey that same sense to players within the war. I realize a game and real war are two very different things, but still, relax people.

Visually this is superb, the lighting and skin shaders are gorgeous here. As for the creed, I'm not familiar with the original, though in this version the idea of being a member of a republic and living by "tribal" values seem somewhat contradictory. My understanding is that a republic would encompass much more than just a single tribe, though I admit I'm not familiar with the story line of EVE.

I like it. Looks a bit like Morpheus from the Matrix.

Cool character and lighting!

@Chimera46 - The Minmatar Republic is one of the four main Empires in New Eden. There are six different tribal lines that make up the republic, with a representative from each tribe on a senatorial council. The tribes are united in the war, though each tribe staunchly holds to its own way of life. Civil conflicts have long plagued the Minmatar, this war actually uniting them for the first time in three hundred years.

I must admit, I do like the image. I've only ever played EVE once or twice, and i'm not overal familiar with it, but it suits the EVE theme and the guy certainlys looks like he's from EVE. Well done :)
