Description

First of all, I want to congratulate my old friend Jodie, since today it's her birthday ! :) Congratulations Jodie, I hope you have a wonderful day ! :) I have two reasonable macro shots left (this is one of them) and a couple of photographs of my cats. I hope you like them, as they are not exactly 'all that'. I'm really hoping the weather will work with me so I have some new shots to show soon :) This is a Cinnabar Moth (Tyria jacobaeae), a rather elusive moth to photograph. I have only ever captured it a handful of times, this being the best result. Oh, by the way, I made it into this week's Art Charts, ranking 36th on the list of favorite artists ! Way cool ! Wonderful detail and colour, a very nice capture indeed. Also where I am, the fruit has finished, everything is so dry and the insects are moving on to greener pastures, macros are getting harder to obtain. But I'm sure our Autumn will bring something new.
