Description
This picture features the lovely V4 character called Buttercup - love her ears and wonderful eye choices. She's a cutie. I just had to do a mermaid with her.
The theme for this is gold, silver and aqua. Rather than do the traditional mermaid top I went with a more regal look since she's a princess under the sea welcoming all to her kingdom.
I used my laptop again to do this picture. Sigh. I bought a new computer but it's taken forever to get it set up. I'm running into challenges. For example, I couldn't install CS4 because I had exceeded the maximum number of activations. But I couldn't deactivate the other computer's activation because it was fried. I had to call Adobe to get special authorization to do an override. Then I'm having issues with downloading anything from DAZ into Poser Pro. I don't know if it's that I'm now using Vista or what the deal is. My hubby may have figured out a solution last night - I'll try it today to see if it worked.
Anyway, that's the latest from me. At least I finally can now download emails so hopefully I can keep up a bit better with comments. Thanks soooo much for your comments and favs on my last picture. I appreciate it. Have a great Monday.
P.S. Frame is by me. Just playing around with more styles. :)
P.P.S. Oh, the computer geeks managed to salvage most of my hard drive. Now I just need to figure out what was saved and what was lost.

It is quite amazing what you have been able to pull off on a laptop because I imagine its power was not stellar. As for Vista, having used it for almost a year I could never go back to xt now, it is a hassle for sure with all its protections but set yourself up as the administrator of all programs and that problem will go away... I had huge problem with poser until I did that. You did a fine job of popping this gal into her scene, lots of colors as expected from you.

I don't usually imagine any such clothing on merfolk, but this fits her position and is quite stunning. Her facial and hand expressions are genuinely inviting and entirely beautiful. Those ears are even better — a great design for underwater hearing. fave'd
