G'day,
and thank you for the chance to introduce myself......
okay, that sounds waaaay too stuffy.... how about this then...... I was raised on Canadian Army Bases which limited the type of grand exposure that my peers would have enjoyed... (In High School, every one of my City Friends would spend Monday mornings talking about Saturday Night Live.... I had no idea what an Ackroyd or a Belushi was....). but you learn.......
I am mostly self taught as no respectable art school would have anything to do with me.
I make movies, live and animated, am one half of a Jazz Duo (called Three Men With Mono.... I play with another animator, the astounding Richard Reeves... and yeah we know, a duo is less than 3 men... but hey....Grand Funk Railroad isn't a Railroad, Iron Butterfly isn't an insect.... and Pink Floyd is well...)
I work in digital photography, Poser (which rules), Bryce, Deluxe Paint 4 (yes I still have working Amiga's), and anything that functions for me...and I'm developing a new animation technique for using with inexpensive digital cameras.
I am currently living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with 2 robot dogs and my dreams....
and unless you've made other plans, have a great day!

COOL RENDER...It,s reminds me thats story: Perhaps the most famous UFO sighting in Quebec’s history happened in Montreal on November 7, 1990. A women was swimming in the (presumably heated) rooftop swimming pool atop the 17 floor Place Bonaventure hotel. She noticed a round object in the sky emitting beams of light. Soon after the police, a journalist, the RCMP, the military and NASA were informed. The sighting lasted almost 3 hours, from 7:20 pm to !0:10 pm. This caught the interest of Bernard Guénette, a UFO researcher in Montreal. In 1992, he and Dr. Richard Haines, a former NASA scientist, published a report on the incident. In conclusion, the report claims that "evidence for the existence of a highly unusual, hovering, silent large object is indisputable." The size of the object was estimated to be about 540 meters wide. Some have suggested that the object was, in fact, the northern lights, This explanation is borderline silly, as Montreal is well known for it’s light pollution, which make chances of glimpsing the northern lights in the central business district of Montreal very low. Also, the alleged phenomena in the sighting is quite different from the northern lights. More than likely, the northern lights explanation is a lazy attempt to debunk the sighting. The sighting remains a mystery... (St-Lawrence Valley of God) ;-)
