Description

...an old scene, but almost completely reworked in terms of objects and, of course, a new spectral 2 cloudy sky atmosphere. I'm not completely satisfied with the outcome, though, something about the depth, the atmosphere is too clear. But increasing the aerial perspective tends to kill the sky effects, so this is as good as it gets for now. Toolbox: Vue 7 Complete, Onyxtree, G3D (AKA "Bantam3D") "Twig" & "Grass", and Photoshop for minor corrections. Some 4 hrs render with AO, user settings, a little more than medium AA settings. Farmhouses freestuff by "martin62", other houses and -items also freestuff from the web. Thanks! All other objects & textures by me. The "furrows" effect is terrain work. I didn't see the original, but this is a knockout! I don't think the atmosphere is too clear at all.

The ground looks awesome, very good indeed. The clouds are just perfect. The atmosphere lacks some haze, I think. Maybe if you set it at low altitude it won't harm the clouds. Those trees on the left look great too. Excellent work!

I think it's a wonderful render, the sky is beautiful. The original image was one of my very first favorites when I joined Rendo and this one is equally impressive.

Nicely done. I do see what you mean about the atmosphere. Up close is fine, but the distance could be a little "hazier" maybe. Or a little fog. It's still a pretty impessive image.
