Safe to say this is on the intake end of a jet engine? Yesterday you showed us the exhaust end on the Mirage. This thing looks like it is designed to both concentrate and direct intake air. By the nature of the physics involved, this should also speed up the flow of air hitting the turbine blades. There...not great, but it maybe adds a little something to the value of the thingieee:)

Well! Young Bill has it right! It an engine intake. BUT! What plane! I need a 'slightly better' view than this I'm afraid! Ha! Could be the Mirage? Bring em On dude! Rob.
