Is it possible
Could I be in love with you
Without ever even seeing you
I entered through the side room door
The light was shinning
Straight towards my eyes
That’s when it happened
That is the moment
I fell in love with you
The light kissed your body
And left your shadow
Against the wall
I was dazed
And confused
Your silhouette
Is the most beautiful woman
I have ever seen
I could not look away
Your beauty entered my eyes
And stole my heart
The lights went down
Your shadow went away
And I am devastated
I look for you ever day of my life
But I can’t find you
You went away with the light
This poem was inspired by Ute’s picture in the heat of the night. Even the shadow is beautiful in this picture. She is a incredible artist but I don’t have to tell you that. This is exceptional writing in my humble opinion. It grasps the masses. To me it is moments as such that writers shine. In this piece of writing, I see the words as nothing extravagant, simplistic, yet perfect ignition delivered. Spawning a natural multitude of creative personal visuals upon the minds of the reader. In addition, provoked desire equals great interest. Although, if the reader was unable to follow through in a visit to her gallery. Because of, your specific choice of words placed as so, they add depth as free the imagination of the reader. In my humble opinion, there is no better compliment. Thank you Randy!
