Description

I hope you're not tired of my friend Anna and her magical works. She did this weaving years ago, and I had it hanging in my house for most of those years. When she came to visit last spring, she saw it and said, "omg, you still have that thing?? you need to put it outside"!! So I did. It's hanging on a trellis I built for my wonderful old rose (that I can NEVER remember the name of, but it's an old orange climber, "ruth" something maybe??). Below are my strawberry and asparagus beds and just beyond are my compost bins. I actually really love having her weaving here; now every time I go out there, I think of her and HER magic garden!!

I suppose a lot of love and attention went into her work, well used to frame the distant objects.

Nice shot; it's a nice piece, wonder why it's supposed to go outside?

Wasn't too keen on it small, but surprise, surprise, I relly like it full size. Zooming brings out the detail and real colors.

...when we set out to deceive. Stellar geometric and lighting effects, which includes silhouetting, and a marvelous myriad of textures, on display in this interesting shot, M!

PD154 beat me to the "dream catcher" idea. I keep my dream catcher hanging from the rear view mirror in the car. This is very rustic for a weaving. Dana P

oooh, I like that weaving! And I like where it is too. (How does it hold up in rain, etc? If it's fabric, doesn't it mold or disintegrate?) I really like the piece, and I like your capture too because you caught it from behind (I assume), where the outside light is coming through it, and its solidity & light are all speaking at once. It almost looks like animals in a cage, on their 'wheel'. What a fascinating combination of elements. Lovely art, very thoughtful capture...
