Description

For an ImagineFx weekly forum challenge #114 titled The Unleashed. My idea was for a dark elf princess who wants revenge, conjures up a potion that will give her control over a bat-like elemental creature. I like how the smoke is coming off the creature as if its made from the fumes of the potion, plus I used colors that I normally don't use a lot.

Thanks Arquitekto, Some family matters arose and had to take a break from the art for a bit. And afterward it took me sometime to get back into the swing of things. Glad you like it.

i think you did an excellent job with the cyan. it's almost electric. i love absolutely everything about it, except the placement of the bat's left leg. my first impression was that it was coming out of its mouth. i think it looks accurate but awkward. though it's a very, very, very small point compared to really masterful use of color, striking composition, and a really solid presentation of a particular style. imho, this feels like one of your more solid works in terms of presentation and polish.
