Description

Its a beautiful spring day today here in Jersey, the sun is shining. After an uplifting and inspiring morning I took myself off for a drive in my car, well I never set off for an Island tour but did one! I stopped at a few places for photo opportunities. I am now back at work full time and never have any time in the week. I will post some shots over the coming week. I am now home and watching England v France in the rugby so what more could a girl ask lol A really lovely day. I may even treat myself to a glass of wine with dinner tonight. Hope you like the photo's, Ouaisne Tower is a round tower built in 1787 to defend the Island against French invaders. It is on a common which is a very important part of the Islands habit. The green lizard Lacerta viridis, agile frog Rana dalmatina, the grass snake Natrix natrix, the palmate newt Triturus helveticus and the slow worm Anguis fragilis are all present at Ouaisné. Ouaisné was the last natural breeding site for agile frogs until a recent translocation to a new site. Thank you for your views and comments Susan

OH! Yeah aint it just like a woman to rush home to watch rugger :), I bet you light fires to get the firemen on the scene LOL, Just kidding. Nice POV to this one Susan, the red and white stripes are very eye catching.
