I have been using RR for 5 years now and have had my eyes opened to the wonderful artistic talents of you all. I never realised there were so many visual art forms.I have always enjoyed taking photographs simply for my own pleasure and as a marker for events in my life.  I have bought a Nikon D40 DSLR & a Panasonic TZ6, I am very much an amateur. I need to go on a course to understand how to use a digital camera properly as I have real difficulties other than point and shoot.I will post my photographs and hope that some of you will find them pleasant but please remember I am a simple soul!Thank you to those of you who make comments, all are greatly appreciated.  I love looking at your galleries for inspiration. One member has recently used one of my shots from 2008 as a shot produced by him. Whilst I am an amateur, I take things like this seriously (2013) and have now managed to have it removed from his gallery and will do so if anyone else does the same. I wouldn't dream of copyright breaches so cannot understand why someone would do it to me. He has also now uploaded it on the site Art Wanted.com. Alas their moderators are not as responsible and helpful as those on this site. I have 2 exotic cats, Foggy and Boris. I adore my cats.  I am quite sure I will end up as a mad old spinster of a cat woman and do I mind? Nope.Thank you for your support

I recognised those paws straight away - before I read your commentary! Catnip can turn the most well behaved cat into a mad reveller, my daughter's Persian used to behave in the most undignified manner - much to our amusement!!! Your two are gorgeous!

As to your question re are children easier than cats?... wait for it.... 'Categorically' no way my friend, you madr a wise choice in bringing up cats. I love this image, thank you for sharing with us my dear friend, hugs Jane xx

LOL... strung out on a catnip high. Gorgeous capture and fun story about their antics. I'm sure they were very relaxed after their hedgehog rip. ;o) I like how Boris is sticking his tongue out slightly in this one. My Kiki used to do that all the time. Bunny
