Description

Railroad hardware - WIP - I created the foreground models in Hexagon (2.2), the background is the DAZ MP-Cyc unmodified. These models are based mostly on my (questionable) memory and a lot of photographs, supplemented by New York Central Diagrams from the 1940's.(http://www.giancarlodemarco.com/Treni/NYC/index2_NYC.html, verified on 15 March, 2009) This and the following are test renders. I was unhappy with the primitive-based railroad tracks and tunnel in the 'store-bought' model I used in my previous render, _Night Watch._ I used my disatisfaction as motivation to finally start using the software I bought years ago to create my own models. In this image, I need to work on the color maps - everything looks more like it is covered in primer than rust.
