Description


In 1944 the U.S. Army transferred about 80 L-5's to the U.S. Navy. The Navy redesignated them as OY-1 and distributed them to the Marine observation squadrons. The subject of this texture is a VMO-4 aircraft seen at Camp Maui.

Nice model but the lighting of it does not match the background environments. Try to lighten it up a bit underneath.

Turner, thanks for the suggestion. I tried various fill lights underneath (area, infinite, parallel spots) the one that seems to work the best is half a light dome below ground. I have updated the image to show the original (top) and the extra lighting below.
