I wasn't going to post this week, but made this especially for my mother, for this coming mothering Sunday (UK). I know she would want me to share it with you.
Again many thanks for your huge support for my last upload, I am deeply overwhelmed, and feel happy that you enjoyed the story.

What a little darling Carina is! She looks pure white at just four weeks, but now, at five years old, I bet you've had to tidy her up a few times when she's been roaming around the garden or woods! Your Mum will love this composition and poem!

Oh my gosh, JaneEden! You are a poet as well as a photographer and digital arist! You are just so filled with wonderous talent! What joy to have you share it with us! I know your Mum will adore this, as I have and everyone else too, judging by the wonderful comments! I'm curious dear Jane, is your Mum talented as well? I have a sneaky suspicion that talent flows through your family! I just love the poem, it brought a tear to my eyes .. thinking of my beloved companions who have already crossed the bridge, but you have written so beautifully of beloved companion's all too short lives, and how much they give us in that short time. Carina looks just so adorable floating down the river on the blossom, guarded by the fae folk.

a very touching image & poem, Jane, and your words evoke the dream in all of us that this life, precious as it is, begins in the embrace of beautiful spirits, and goes back to those spirits when it's over. And it's a beautiful heartful gift for your mother (whom I salute, as I'm sure everyone else does). Also, if I can say so, rhyming is no easy feat (!) when you consider how long it takes (since 'what' we want to say doesn't always rhyme with the last thing we wanted to say!): You've done a very fine job with rhyme, here. The vision of the words is part of the purest part of all of us, and it's just beautiful. With your image, you've again used the background very effectively, using soft focus where it's needed, and placing your foreground flowers very delicately in front. The big flower beneath the fairy is the right touch, to my eye, ie, just where it should be; and once again you've placed an animal into nature seamlessly, the dog (Carina?) sitting on that dappled flower as if it were a cushion. The angels, butterflies and star-dusts are placed beautifully, and your 'washing' of the background in spots—like a watercolor wash (smeared colors, blended colors)—is very painterly and done with the best intuition. Another sensitive montage from you, with enchanted words; and I hope your mother is moved by it, as everyone here seems to be. Beautiful creation once more...I hope all is well with you Jane.
