Description

"Forty-two days sailing from the Foremost Isles of Auld Dalriata, across the Leviathan Sea, two thirds of the way to the Sunset Kingdoms, lie the low lying sandy shoals known as the Shining Sands. Legends abound about these seas, and certainly navigation through these shifting islets is chancy, but attempting to circumvent them brings the sailor into the rock strewn Broken Reaches. Surely, hard choices turn up every day on the ocean.." ( Iain McFlint's TALES OF OVER THE SEA, Shellford Press, Lackland ) Trying to clean up my VUE 6 Infinite directories, I decided to experiment with the program. Using the TERRAMAT collection, the terrain editor, and some of my new-found MATS, I crafted this offering, trimming the atmospher down to a simple one, and the sea to a shallow lip. My last weeks have been hectic, but I know that with a triple 21st Birthday this weekend, several services to prepare for, and a lot of personal paperwork to catch up on, I'll not know whether I'm coming or going. So, for those who find themselves far too busy during this trying season of Lent, preparatory to the great Christian feast of Easter, please simply, even if it is only once during this time .. stop, take stock, take a couple of deep breaths and then walk sturdily through the challenges of life, with head up, and confidence surging. We may not see, nor be privy to God's plan, in the apparent chaos of our everyday life, but be assured that God our heavenly father turns all events to our benefit, even the niggling little thorns in our side... ;o) So, enjoy life to the full, or at least fuller than you have until now. Peace and Joy be yours and those you love. John.
