Description

this photo was taken a fem momounts before the rain you saw. Yes I was in my truck with the window down. I did not get wet at all for the wind was strong and driveing the wind over myu truck I parked so I would not get wet and take photos of this weather. i was on my way to my sons house for he have a brick house to stay in out of the Hurrcane[ lol misspelled] Plus I heard on the radio the a tornado was around. hopeing to get a shot of that too. But it never came. My luck it would pick up my truck and put it in Lake martin with me in it lol. I read if you wish to be a good photographer you have to learn to shot in all types of weather. It also shows the land in a diff light too and a diff feel. [yep all wet here] thanks for all oh the waves on the water is from the wind blowing down ware and across at 25 t0 30 mph, could be stronger gusts of wind too as this was hours from the hurrcane was comeing in. My truck rocks at time and I knew i had to go soon

Right before a big storm, there is a certain smell in the air and a peculiar kind of light to an area. You have done a fine job capturing this moment before the storm.

Wow Jocko, I read your intro and you are very brave to be even out in such weather, let alone taking photos!!! Amazing shot, and yes a big difference from the one you took previously. Thanks for sharing with us, hugs Jane xx
