Found 3 of these Hummingbird Clearwing Moths enjoying the first spring flowers in my backyard. Another sure sign spring is just around the corner. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave.

Great shot. Reminds me of the pictures we've all seen of mid-air refuelling. The shape of the flower is very similar to a boom from a KC-135. Bet there aren't many others who see this the same way I do. LOL. Seriously, well done and the moth is a new creature on my list.

Judging by the name, do these moths hover like hummingbirds? Quite spectacular! Have never heard of them before but they are certainly beautiful!
