Herons,crocus,catkins,Frogspawn in abundance!
Today I finally met up for a walkabout with my good mate and fellow RR member JeffG7BRJ. we strolled around the recreational lake at Queens Park Lancashire UK.
Herons were very Busy building nests. On the lake there is an island with a cluster of tall trees.
Jeff counted five nests with pairs of Herons, no six, no there's seven, eight nests !!!
I've included Jeff in this collage just to prove he is still around lol.

A very informative collage. Looks like Jeff is enjoying himself! Beautiful crocus. Though we have plenty of herons in the Florida Keys, I've never seen one of their nests! If you ever have the inclination, I wouldn't mind seeing a close up of the frog spawn...

Terrific montage!! Especially the one with the bits of green growing out of the water! And the heron nests .. and the one with the heron flying with stuff for her nest, and oh lets face it, each photo is terrific!
