And them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye. Singin this will be the day that I die.

I took this one while visiting family in California. I can't tell you how much fun I had with my sister and then later my brother going back to places we visited as kids and taking photos, I will try to share more of them with you all. My brother took me to this one area and we found this house with an obviously very eccentric owner everything to a front gate covered in old California license plates to an old building in his yard and the trees as well were covered in the old Yellow Tonka truck, the ones we all played with or our kids played with he must have had thousands of them out there, it was amazing my brother knew the owner and said he worked for one of the movies studios, and collected items from sets he worked on, no doubt. He wanted to take me and introduce me to him,but he said we would never get out of there LOL.

Thanks for the comments on the card for the birthday boy, judging from his comment I think he liked it, of course he did site mail me about a comment I made to Harrys (goodoleboy) card to him, something about a lawyer, hey Mark I don't scare that easy LOL but good try.

I agree Margie, and later when I showed it to my brother who is a collector of old cars, he knew exactly where this old truck was which amazed me because we were out in a pretty remote area when we came across it. Thank you all~~
