Description

The huge beast had gotten greedy, taken too much from the land, and the guardian of the wild was forced to bring him down. There was no joy in the death, only necessity. Lots o' cool new toys to play with. Over at DAZ they've just released a quad of goodness in the form of WoodGod M4 H4 by ElorOnceDark, add-on textures Woodland Prince for Woodgod by Morris, Woodland Prince Elric for M4 also by Morris and WoodGod poses by the incomparable Digiport and InfinityRain. All four parts make it very easy to create a benevolent woodland guardian or vengeful forest warrior. Everything is wonderful to work with. The hardest part is deciding which clothing textures, poses and "makeup" to use for the character. Everything is top notch. The rest of the scene was create with Digital I Design's Acrocanthosaurus (DAZ), Digiport's poses for him (DAZ), the Props Pack - Morphing Grassy Outcropping by Traveler (RDNA), UberEnvironment Light Shader IBL/HDRI by Omnifreaker (DAZ), Country Day HDRI I by Sadot (DAZ), and Moodmaster by Dreamlight. The fog and the rain were created by using Moodmaster, and then layered with the original render in Photoshop.

Hmmm... the problem with rainy scenes is every surface has to look wet. They don't really look like that here. A patient soul would slap a coat of PWS2 on everything and dial in the two specular channels. Outside of that this is a fantastic image. That's one wild looking character!
