Description

I took this when I went out to visit my dad, kind of bittersweet he has always loved the outdoors and his plants, flowers, and vegetables, but he can't care for them now, so now they have a gardener that comes by once a week to look after the yard and the pool, and the rest my mom does but I did try to capture some of his flowers that were in bloom, he would try to collect plants and parts of plants from friends yards or places he visited, lol he would just borrow a bit of them and come home and plant them and presto.. I sure never have that green thumb talent. Hope you enjoy this one. Drove my Chevy thumb_1852638.jpg
I finally finished my Taxes after much procrastinating, doing math was just not the thing I wanted to do this last week, but I am done Uncle Sam owes me LOL and I will collect... Have a good night I am going to go celebrate with a walk.

Very fine work. This one is full of emotion today for me. Powerful combination of colors to convey a very special feeling about your dad. And mine, I must confess.

As for me, it is unskilled to grow the plant. I think that the thing where a good friend for you exists is a good thing for the plant.

Good ol' Uncle Sam paid me but Sour State of California has yet to cough up the dough! Always some excuse why they can't pay the citizens what they owe them in overpaid taxes... This is a wonderful shot with such a soft and gentle mood. Excellent.

It is sad when a loved one isnt able to do the things they used to enjoy and which took up their free time. I hope your Dad and indeed your mum enjoy your pictures from the garden. This is a beautiful flower, a touching sentiment

and that is a nice capture you did, I do hope your dad can still enjoy the garden just by sitting out in it and taken all the beauty he helped to create.

very heartful & delicate shot, sensitive use of light & focus (and soft focus); and the flowers, which seem to look at us in a threesome, are eloquent and inviting. And I get the sense that the inward hues and delicate detail reflects your love & feelings for a beloved father who is struggling now. I echo Michael's beautiful words. May he be strong as he can, and feel comfort & peace. A very touching tribute...

A touching image and the softness shows the emotion of your narrative. Hopefully he can still enjoy them, however limited his access.
