Description

A Prayer Answered {What's A Mother To Do IV} Ahmes still encapsulated in Gods light while all around her is in darkness, suddenly hears a voice that seems to emanate from everywhere and everything around her. It rumbles and grunts with a sound liken to that of the Earth in a state of upheaval, yet the ground does not move. At the same time it is sweet and soothing like the sound of the papyrus flutes her Father use to play for her when she was a child, or like that of wind song, as it passes over the hollow reeds that grow along the banks of the Nile. You knew that Amen-Re, Lord of Thebes, King of Karnak, took your husbands form and came down to you Ahmose, as you slept in the beauty of your palace. you woke at the fragrance of the god and rejoiced at the sight of his beauty, and he went into you and his love came into your body. And you said, "How wonderful to see you face to face, your dew is in all my limbs". And Amen, Lord of the Two Lands, said to you, Khnumit-Amon-Hatshepsut is the name of the daughter I have planted in your body. She shall be king in this whole land. My soul is hers, my crown is hers.
