Description
Captured 3/16/09, around 8:10 AM, about .30 miles/.483 kilometers from my acrimonious abode, and approximately 2 miles/3.22 kilometers SW of the original site of Glass Block postings Nos. 1 & 2.
All three photos show the same blocks photographed at different POVs. Even though these pics were taken looking into the morning sun, they came out somewhat opaque because the entire unit is composed of nine blocks in all, so the light has to penetrate through two rows of blocks before it even gets to the ones I photograph. Maybe I should have used a flash. Or shot from the other side with the sun over my shoulder.
A full size view would be to your extreme benefit.
Thankx for stopping by, and have a transcendental Tuesday.

You KNOW I love these...and lovely as all three shots are, I think I like the bottom squared one best; can't say why, it just appeals to me more. Nice work, Harry!

I love the bit of gold from the sun--beautiful shots, Harry!!

Hi Harry, Again, good shooting on these ageless wonders. You must be wearing a pedometer on your early morning walks...based on your notes. I've got to get out too...

Nicely done Harry! I like the abstract shapes in the glass, kinda like looking at clouds and trying to imagine what they look like.

'ageless wonders' (Bill)...good way to put it. I think one of the things you do in your triptychs is allow the pics to speak for themselves, and very boldly so. These just say what they are, directly and boldly, and they're so exuberant as a result. I always feel that from your triptychs. Those big bold glass blocks between the bricks are just "there," loud & clear. Love the shot. I've liked the whole glass block series.
