My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

One year for my sister's birthday I went to an artsy shop where artist brought in all sorts of one-of-a-kind things for sale. I found this big waterbug (roach for those who do not live in tropical regions) that had been dipped in some sort of metal and highlighted in silver. Then it was mounted on a pin to be worn as a broach. It was just incredible work. But turns out my sister has a phobia about roaches and nearly wet herself running from the room when she opened it. I felt bad...but then she told me to take the pin and wear it myself so I was pretty happy about the whole thing. LOL This really is a lovely fly! Fabulous shot.

And a novelty it is, I was also agree with busi2ness, but never the less a very nice piece and pretty realistic! I can see why you were attracted to it in the first place, a very nice macro indeed and I can see clearly all the relections and nice colours, well worth the zoom in. Peter.
