Description

The ancient Rose Knight has returned to the castle of his youth after many foreign campaigns and countless wounds. Although the castle is the only place where he has found peace in a life of conflict, it is also the home of sad memories. Too proud to admit his infirmity, he limps alone to the shrine he had built to the memory of his betrothed who was claimed by the Great Death that ravaged his lands while he marched in distant shores. He knows that his own death is at hand. As he kneels at the altar, a shaft of sunlight pierces his vision, and it seems that his beloved is reaching out toward him with his own emblem as her gift. Then all is dark. NOTES: The stained glass window was built in Daz studio with the help of morphing primatives by D3D and the morphing stone arch by Joe Kurz. Stone wall textures by Joe Kurz. Glass textures from a variety of free sources, including Tyllo's summer and winter sets. Knights costume is free from Lourdes with textures by Tabbycat and Kethaera. All are available through Renderosity free stuff. Olyessa character by Thorne and Sarsa, morphing fantasy dress and Armasada hair are all from Daz3D. The Ice Blue texture for the MFD is a freebie from Chohole at Francimi.com. I edited the original render of Olyessa in PaintShop Pro V7 to create the mat for the center of the stained glass window. PSP7 was also used to enhance the scene lighting and create the solar flare. Hope you enjoy it.
