Description
This is a photo that I took of my friend. I messed around with it a bit in my little program thing. I think that it came out okay, but I'm going to have to work on my people photography skills a bit more.
As for a poem... well I don't really have one for you. But I shall with my next image.

I would think maybe doing some skin smoothing and tone blending would give a more finished look. I like the lighting and her pose. What a fabulous lady - she really is a caring friend it would seem. You seem to have the basics down on doing a nice portrait and only need a bit of practice picking up the finishing postwork.
